Bung Boraphet Methane Extraction and Power Generation Project

Located in Thailand, this project captures methane from wastewater treatment systems at a starch manufacturing facility. The captured methane is then used to generate electricity for the plant’s operations, replacing grid electricity. This dual-benefit approach prevents a potent greenhouse gas (methane) from entering the atmosphere while simultaneously reducing reliance on fossil fuels for power generation.
