For nearly two decades, CELAN has meticulously analyzed the floristic structure and community resilience, gathering demographic data, monitoring turnover, recruitment, forest species growth, mortality rates, species biology, and biomass production. This groundbreaking research led to the publication of “Waterline distance effects in the recovery of forest structure and soil organic matter 12 years after restoration” in Ecological Engineering, a leading journal in the field, showcasing the project’s impact on ecological restoration and directly contributing to SDG 15.
